Carlsbad: The town of Carlsbad is located just 35 miles North from
downtown San Diego and 87 miles South from Los Angeles. The aptly nicknamed “Village

About: Calavera
means "Skull" in Spanish. There are more than six miles of trails, open to hikers,

an extinct Volcano? The trails here are
well groomed and feature a small lake, creek and wooden bridge. You can hike to the rim or even walk out onto
the crater and read about the history of the volcano.
